The RICO MICRO has been regarded as one of the most powerful and versatile thermal optics on the market. The new RL25 V2 is an evolution that keeps the well-known compact form factor and advanced feature set, while adding user-requested features and system enhancements focused on improving image quality and ease-of-use.
In its newest variation, the RL25 V2 has been updated to provide users with powerful enhancements while retaining the versatility that our customers love; use it as a handheld scanner, helmet-mounted monocular, weapon sight and now a thermal clip-on! The 384x288 12 µm thermal sensor has and improved NETD rating of ≤18mK and is paired with a 25 mm f/1.0 lens to provide a 2x native magnification. New RL25 V2 models feature a machined magnesium alloy housing to reduce weight. An added USB-C port now allows for simplified file transfer and the ability to power the MICRO from an external battery pack. The internal video recorder now includes crisp audio and 64 GB of internal storage. An improved 1440×1080 AMOLED display and is paired with a new eyepiece that offers more comfortable viewing and clip-on compatibility for optics up to up to 6× magnification. The new display provides a physical viewing area that is 80% larger than the previous generation, with 97% more total pixels.
Please note the picture that has the case in it shows exactly what mounts and accessories come with this optic from the factory, some of the other pictures of this optic featured on firearms and helmets show it with alternate mounting solutions like the AC36 Pictail and AC52 MQD Mount, these can also be purchased separately from our website.

The new RL25 V2 can now be used as a thermal clip-on in front of day optics up to 6X.
(In the first generation, only the RH25 had a clip-on mode)
